In the heart of Irpinia comes the Rubrato, a wine that
expresses the pleasantness of Aglianico in
youth.
Denomination: Irpinia Aglianico DOC
Grapes: Aglianico
Fermentation: Alcoholic fermentation and maceration in tanks
of steel for about 2-3 weeks.
Maturation: About 10 months in steel tanks.
Aging: Minimum 6 months in the bottle.
Organoleptic test: Intense and clear ruby red. The nose recalls wild black fruit, liquorice and undergrowth. In the mouth it is balanced with a finish that recalls fresh fruit and ends with a delicate balsamic note.
Gastronomic combinations: A particularly versatile wine. It goes perfectly with first courses of land, red and white meat main courses and typical recipes of the Campania region, such as aubergine parmigiana and rice sartù.
