Rombi, a type of pasta typical of Abruzzo peasant gastronomy, are a variety of sagne cut into a rhomboid shape, very common in mountain areas. Traditionally, this format is accompanied by sauces based on fish, chicken or duck, common in the Abruzzo countryside, or lamb sauces, particularly in mountain areas. Turbots are also ideal for the preparation of legume soups or with meat sauce and tomato sauce.
