Since 1963, Nastro Azzurro has selected only the best ingredients for its beer: pure water deprived of gas and calcium, the best malt, two special hops: Saaz Saaz and Tettnang which give the typical bitter, fine and aromatic taste and finally a careful choice of selected yeasts. The real trump card, however, is the use of local corn called "nostrano Peroni", a variety grown in the classic Italian maize-producing areas, not genetically modified and selected in collaboration with the cutting-edge research unit for maize cultivation in Bergamo in scientific research and agronomy. The flavor of this corn has a Mediterranean flavour, of 100% Italian quality, which allowed this beer to become the most drunk Italian Premium abroad in 2013.
Intense golden yellow color, clear and with a moderately persistent white foam. It releases aromas of brioches, leavened dough, bread crust, on a floral background of white flowers and citrus fruits. The taste is correct, simple and effective in freshness with a good balance of the final bitter note. Refreshing result.
