Mastroberardino Irpinia Aglianico DOC is a fine red wine, produced in the clayey and volcanic soils of Irpinia, with an optimal exposure that enhances the characteristics of the Aglianico grape variety. The harvest is done manually between the end of October and the beginning of November, while the vinification in steel tanks and the aging in wood for 10 months and in the bottle for about 6 months guarantee a high quality product. The wine has an intense ruby red color and offers notes of black cherry, wild blackberry, violet and spices on the nose. On the palate it is elegant and soft, with hints of berries and strawberry jam. This Aglianico is the perfect match for cured meats, fresh and aged cheeses, white and red meats, and dishes enriched with meat sauces, mushrooms and truffles. A wine that best expresses the tradition and quality of Irpinia viticulture.
