Vinosia Taurasi SantAndrea DOCG red wine

Vinosia's Taurasi SantAndrea DOCG represents the essence of Aglianico in its most classic and powerful expression. This red wine is obtained from selected Aglianico grapes, grown on predominantly volcanic soils, with a clay-limestone component, which gives the wine a solid structure and a unique aromatic complexity. The harvest takes place in the first ten days of November, when the grapes reach the perfect degree of ripeness. The vinification involves a maceration of about 12 days, with fermentation partially conducted also with native yeasts. The malolactic fermentation takes place entirely in French oak barriques, where the wine ages for 14 months, developing a depth and balance that make it a true Barolo of the South. Visually, the wine has an intense ruby red color, enriched with garnet nuances. The bouquet is complex and enveloping, with notes of morello cherry jam, cinnamon and vanilla, accompanied by aromatic hints of anise and nutmeg. On the palate, Taurasi SantAndrea stands out for its richness and enveloping character, with present but well-integrated tannins, and a persistent finish of ripe red fruits and spices. Perfect when paired with first courses with lively sauces and second courses of red meat, both farmed and wild, this wine is a tribute to the Campania winemaking tradition and an unmissable sensory experience for lovers of wines with character and class.
